Tye Road

The clients wanted to update the landscape of this 1905 home before gifting it to their daughter. Together, we designed the property around two primary goals: an updated gathering space and a large orchard. We envisioned a flagstone patio with a sandstone boulder wall, along with a decomposed granite path leading to a variety of fruit trees. A new horizontal fence frames the space as it steps down with the grade. Downspout stormwater flow was directed to a functional dry creek for infiltration, benefiting the orchard. The project was finished with a new paver driveway and planting areas filled with colorful succulents and grasses.
